Everyone in Witch Central knows about Jamie Sullivan's precog vision. The one he saw when he first laid eyes on the woman who would one day be his wife.
Now Nat and Jamie have it all. A fiery, adorable daughter, the kind of marriage that lasts to forever and beyond, and deep roots in the love, antics, and magic of Witch Central's leading family.
Those parts of the vision have all come true. All that is missing is one small boy with dancing eyes.
And all the magic in the universe can't seem to make him real.
An Unlikely Witch is book two of the Witch Central series, set in the bestselling, well-loved world of A Modern Witch.
What I liked: I absolutely know what I'm going to get when I read a Debora Geary book and I was not disappointed a bit. Nat and Jamie have been a favorite since the very first book, A Modern Witch. There's some turmoil coming up for them and the whole Witch Central crew gets involved to try and set things right. However, right isn't always what you dream it is. Got you yet?? Well, I could see the direction things were going and I just couldn't figure out how Ms Geary was going to fix everything. The journey was full of tears and gut wrenching uncertainty. I went through many tissues and loved it all.
The best things about Ms Geary's books are they are feelings poured on pages that wrap around your heart. I know there are no witches in my world and yet I am so invested in this series that I feel a part of Witch Central. That's some awesome talent to be able to put on pages.
What I didn't like:
The best way to read this series is to visit Ms Geary's website here and find the correct reading order. You need to read them in order so you can meet and learn about ALL the characters. Speaking of characters, they are superbly written and developed. You might find a bit of some of your relatives in some of them, witch or not.
An Unlikely Witch is currently only available as an e-book and is well worth the $3.99. It's a steal!!
