In a pack of werewolves, a half human isn't exactly at the top of the food chain. Half-human, half-werewolf, Ria Marlett knows her place in the pack. And she knows exactly how the pack’s alpha, Drake Neilson, views her; as a convenient lay. So far she’s managed to avoid his advances, but she knows his patience is growing thin.
Now he's ready to claim her.
Ria does her best to avoid Drake, but the sexy woman can’t hide who she is. Tired of waiting, now he’ll do whatever it takes to win Ria, even woo her while dealing with rabid lone wolf attacks. With the pack in danger Ria is forced to face what Drake has been telling her all along, she just might be the strongest of the pack.
Length: 23,000 words
Ria is half human and half werewolf but always seems to be at the bottom of the pecking order in her pack because of it. She has been attracted to her Alpha, Drake, for as long as she can remember but has come to realise her feelings for him are very real but there's no way she will ever admit it. Avoiding Drake as much as possible is Ria's solution but strangely it seems as if Drake has deliberately decided to hunt her down!
Drake knows that his duty to his Pack is all encompassing but his own inner beast is clamouring to finally claim his mate. Drake has known for many years just who he is meant to be with but has kept his distance and allowed the sweet unassuming Ria to grow up and spread her wings. Now all bets are off as he can scent her desire for him and it's making him hungry! Ria may feel she is no match for an Alpha but in light of recent attacks Drake knows the time has come to stake his claim, now all he has to do is catch her!
Full Circle is a very quick tale and surprisingly packed in quite a lot. It's clearly the beginning of a series and if you enjoy short sexy stories with a paranormal twist then this should appeal. It is written with passion and there is a strong sense of sexual tension but if you prefer those sort of "encounters "to be restrained then you will enjoy this. Sexy but not overly descriptive, I think would be a fair description.
