In a Universe where all is possible, the battle to protect not only his people, but his heart rests on the soul of a human woman who must face the unknown and take a leap of faith that could save or destroy them all.
Casey is just an ordinary girl but her life is about to become extraordinary! A disaster sees planes crashing to the ground leaves all of earth terrified of what could happen next. The last thing Casey is expecting is a huge muscular hunk to turn up and say she's meant for him, oh and by the way, he's an alien! Casey may be smitten but she's no pushover and if Lorn wants to get in her pants then he will have to work at it! The only problem is when he's around her libido goes into overdrive.
Lorn comes from a galaxy where women are desperately needed and as they have so many men, he has already pledged his heart to another male, Nast. Convincing Casey of his true feelings for her will be hard enough, but can he hope she will embrace his lover as well? Theirs is a desperate society where everything Casey believes to be normal will be turned on its head. Getting her first kiss is only the start of the adventure and Casey had better buckle up because it's going to be an awfully bumpy ride!
Oo what a humdinger of a story! I've read a few books in a similar vein with alien warriors needing females but not many are so well written as Casey's Warriors. I admit there is a lot of sexual activity in it ( maybe a tad more than I wanted) but it's an erotic romance so many readers would hope for that. As for me, I adore the world building and although I thought the plot could have been expanded, I do take on board it's the first in the series with much more to come.
Will I read more? That's a definite yes and I notice Ms Mayburn has left the way open for either Casey's sister to get her own warrior or two but I'm hoping her quiet, shy friend, Paige will be next as there's a certain tortured alien who sounds utterly delicious!
