Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he's hounded Atticus for centuries. Now the determined deity has tracked him down, and Atticus will need all his power - plus the help of a seductive goddess of death, his vampire and werewolf team of attorneys, a sexy bartender possessed by a Hindu witch, and some good old-fashioned luck of the Irish - to kick some Celtic arse and deliver himself from evil.
What I liked: While I thoroughly enjoyed my Kindle version, the audio version just elevates this book to the nth degree. Mr Daniels (narrator) just kills it and makes Ms Hearne's work come alive. They say a narrator can kill a book, well Mr Daniels imortalizes Hounded. The imagination behind The Iron Druid Chronicles is unbelievable. It's a complete story, well developed, the characters come alive before your eyes. There are no bumps in the road in the writing. Atticus has become one of my favorite characters in a series!
What I didn't like: Nada!
The prices for Hounded are more than reasonable for the quality the reader/listener is getting. The Kindle edition is $5.99, the paperback is $7.66 and if you have a credit or $9.79, splurge on the audio version.
