Can she bring herself to accept the illusive Craig James for what he really is, or will she be too afraid to believe in the magic that brought them together?

Arianna is in Scotland working on her thesis and her travels have brought her to Castle Nathair where she meets the sole inhabitant, a blacksmith called Craig James. From the moment they meet it's plain Craig is shocked by Arianna's appearance but as Arianna digs in and tries to discover the secrets the Castle hides. she also spends more time with the mysterious Craig. Legends about curses and magic start to resonate in the present and soon Arianna learns things about Craig that just might seem too fantastic to believe.
This was a far cry from the usual shifter story and indeed was more about evil and curses. I'm loathe to divulge too much but will say, although essentially a romance it's also quite poignant at times. I found it to be creative but with a twist I hadn't seen coming. If you enjoy romance and particularly find a Scotsman appealing, then this might be a story to entertain you
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
