Turning mortals into vampires is forbidden.
But there are creatures who refuse to play by the rules.
Ever since he was turned, FBI special agent Ty Duncan has had one mission: bring rogue vampires to justice. As a recruiter for Belladonna, a shadow agency formed to keep vampires in check, Ty must tap Ana Martin, a troubled ex–gang member and one of the few mortals who can infiltrate places that his kind and the law cannot. From their first encounter, Ty fights a hunger to make Ana his own.
When Ty claims to have information about Ana’s missing sister, Ana has no choice but to trust this captivating stranger who awakens her deepest desires. But as she and Ty climb the heights of pleasure and passion, an enemy is conspiring to destroy them both.
Can Ana help Ty find his humanity in a love that could heal them both, or will their passion lead them into a darkness impossible to escape?
The FBI have been creating their own vampires but it's all gone horribly wrong! Ty is a turned vampire but he's working for the Belladonna Agency to try and clean up the mess. Rogue vampires are on the streets but maybe, just maybe, they can infiltrate the organisation with a little help but that help comes at a cost.
Ana is an ex-gang member and she's also the most tempting woman Ty has ever seen! Persuading her to help is only the start of his problems though as he hates the monster he has become and now he burns for the feisty female. Getting close to the Rogues isn't going to be easy but when the natural born vampires learn what's happening all bets are off. Ana may not trust Ty but can she trust her feelings towards him? Ty's pulled in so many directions that a world of hurt looks inevitable.
Turned is the first book in this new series but already the author is setting up to give her readers a fabulous ride. Filled with characters of depth and a fast twisting storyline that often surprises. Its so hard for authors to come up with a new twist on vampire romance but Ms DePaul has managed to interest me and I'm keen to see where this storyline can possibly go. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what she dreams up next.
At Barnes and Noble, Turned is $7.99 in Nook book and paperback. At Amazon, the paperback is $7.19 and Kindle edition is $5.99.
