I think unrequited love must be the most painful of all and yet Ms Davis attacks that subject in such a delightful way. There's no bitterness in play, just a big caring bear of a man called Ayden who from his first scene, as a reader, I just wanted to cheer on. I really enjoyed the twin sisters with their brave outlook and wanted so much for Kalissa to really see the man in front of her but with a hex on her memories how would she realise just how special their bond is?
This was so easy to fall into with its myriad of characters. There's a war going on with casualties on all sides, but with the penmanship of this author it was such fun to read.
I was gifted a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
