Jeff Christopher is a shapeshifter and ally of Chicago’s Cadogan House of vampires—he’s also a tech whiz and mostly-legal hacker. And the only protective shields he’s never been able to find a way around are those of the powerful Keene Family.

For a long time, Jeff has only had eyes for the beautiful Fallon Keene. Unfortunately, she is the only sister of the lethal North American Central Pack Apex Gabriel Keene. The intricate balances of power and politics make it all but impossible for Fallon to trust her feelings.

But fate takes a hand when the Pack’s totem is stolen—threatening the Keene family’s rule—and Fallon enlists Jeff’s help to retrieve it before the Pack is thrown into chaos. Can she and Jeff find the totem, and restore order, before it’s too late? And will Jeff finally be able to prove himself to the only person he truly loves?

A feast for Chicagoland Vampire fans waiting for the next full length novel.

What I liked:  Jeff has always been one of my favorite characters in this series.  I was hoping Ms Neill would do his story.  And do it she did.  This is a quick read but very entertaining.  The synopsis pretty much gives you the idea of the story and as Howling For You is a novella, I can't say too much except you learn alot about the politics of the Pack.  Jeff and Fallon are a unique kind of couple and I love how their relationship is portrayed.  Ms Neill did justice to their characters!  Very well written and developed.

What I didn't like:  As with all my favorite series, I hate novellas because, I want more!!

This is an e-book only and reasonably priced at $2.99

Highly recommend!!

I'm so happy that Jeff and Fallon's story finally got told but you're right, it was WAY too short! Still a cute read though; I'm anxiously awaiting to get my Wild Things ARC in the mail! Should be here any day now...

Don't rub it in!. I've not requested any ARCs as I'm such a small site. I get most of my ARCs from NetGalley.
I wonder how the Jeff and Fallon pairing will figure into future books.
