Fortunately, Cass has just discovered that she’s the most powerful Magica in the world. She may have no control over her massive new power, but that won’t stop her from using it to break out of the world’s strongest supernatural prison. As for how she’s going to stop Victor when she gets out? She has no idea.
To have any hope at success, Cass will have to learn to control her magic and figure out exactly what he’s trying to accomplish. She’s going to need all the help she can get if she wants to survive, much less save the world. Luckily for her, she’s got Aidan Merrick and her sisters at her back, along with her allies in the League of FireSouls.
Hmm, this is hard as although there is a resolution here, I kind of felt disappointed by our dastardly villain, Victor, and that's simply because for much of Infinite Magic, it's Demot aka the bulldog who causes Cass and her merry band the most problems. It's still the action packed story I've come to expect from Ms Hall though and I was overjoyed by her choice of locations here. I can't say too much but think evil and remote castle fortresses and you just might guess! Yet as usual there's mythology as well and if you enjoy folklore then the creatures that appear will have you jumping for joy!
I mentioned a resolution but it's not really the end as although we see Cass stepping up and grabbing her happy ending, she still has two 'sisters' to tell their tales, or does she?
Great storytelling, beautiful covers and so very imaginative. Now all that's left is to wait to see what Ms Hall comes up with next!
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
