This is the exciting sequel to the NYT’s and USA Today best-selling book Surrender. In Submit, Ari faces an impossible ultimatum. She needs to decide whether to accept Raffaelo Palazzo’s indecent proposal and stay at his side as his bought mistress, under his complete control in his world and in his bedroom. Rafe holds the keys to her mother’s happiness, and Ari must choose love for her mother or respect for herself and for the morals her mother instilled in her. You’ll find out that decision in this book and discover the unexpected repercussions of what Ari does choose.
In Surrender, we were also introduced to the dynamic story of Shane Grayson and Lia Palazzo. See where their story leads as the Surrender Series continues.
Watch as two strong, confident women make choices that will affect their lives forever.
Who will submit? Will it be the women or the men?
What I liked: The characters became more fleshed out and the tension was steamy. The introduction to a larger cast really helped in Submit. Ms Anne writes an excellent follow-up to the first in the series, Surrender. I still favor Ari but have a very soft place in my heart for Rafe's sisters. They're incorrigible. The story has some subplots that are going to become front and center. Fantastic world building and character development. Unbelievable ending. So glad I didn't have to wait for the next in the series, Seduced.
What I didn't like: I'm still having a problem with Rafe's character but that's my fault, I know. He's so good at being the as*hole.
While I enjoyed the first in the series, Submit, is one I will re-read. Ari is turning out to be one of my favorite heroines.
While the Kindle price is reasonable at $3.99, the paperback is a bit steep for me at $10.60
Good reading and great story!
