I’m his assistant and desperately in love with him. I’d willingly serve him both in the boardroom and in the bedroom.
There’s one problem.
He doesn’t mix business with pleasure.
In The Good Assistant, we meet the ever so humble but oh so organized, Trella Grant, and her obsessive workaholic boss, John Powers. Trella has spent three years aching for him but as he doesn't ever mix business with pleasure, she knows her hunger will never be abated. One night, Trella is caught by John in a most compromising position but what follows is a lesson in lust, trust, and truth.
Well written and although it took me a while to warn up to John, I can't fault the pacing. Here is a man who has suffered and yet pulled himself up by the boot straps; and watch out anyone who comes between him and what he holds dear!
