Magnus has no intention of losing this woman who makes his heart beat faster but changing her will be an irrevocable step. The passion between them is combustible but as Magnus has lived more than four hundred years he has both seen and indeed done a lot. Is it possible there are consequences to his previous actions and if so just how will Sian react? As for Sian, is she really ready to turn her back on her all too human life? The life she knows has introduced her to many things but what she's about to find out is that not all wolves are the same but the one thing they share? The love of a good hunt!
This is a very steamy read with lots of sex. Ms Banks gives a unique spin that sees her characters indulging in both actual and also dream sex. If I'm honest, I thought a lot of the book was given over to the sexual antics and initially I just wanted more plot but there is a storyline here that will appeal to many readers I'm sure. Unfortunately for me, I just did not really connect particularly with the characters and so struggled to remain engaged. What I did like though was the way the author tried to convey just how intensely animal the werewolf side could be. There's no pussyfooting around but a true insight into just how animalistic and frankly, downright scary a creature like this could be. We are talking wolves here not pussycats so expect intense reactions and more than a little heat.
